DescriptionSince 1914, Jurid has been the OE supplier for leading automobile manufacturers. As early as 1920, Jurid manufactured the first moulded vehicle brake linings. In 1983, Jurid was one of the first manufacturers in the world to produce asbestos-free linings and, in 1993, Jurid applied for a patent on "SinterRauhGrund SRG" - a material with the highest shearing resistance for PC- and CV-linings. Our OE customers include European, American and Asian manufacturers of: passenger cars, light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks, trailers, buses, motorhomes, aircraft and trains (metro, freight and high-speed). Jurid brake products are used on a wide variety of passenger vehicles, driven by consumers who demand high-performance braking.
